What's New on The Site?
As of 1 March 2010:
Winners of the 2010 Mini-Grants were identified in the list of Mini-Grant Proposals which is available from the home page. We thank everyone for outstanding submissions.As of 28 Feb 2010:
1. Added Conference Photos for 2009 Conference, see History/Photo Archives.2. Restored Photo Album for 2007 Conference, see History/Photo Archives.
As of 9 Feb 2010:
1. Linked the new E-journal into the menu under "What's New".Please look it over. The blog is going to be adjusted every couple of weeks, with new articles and video’s. To send your accolades/comments to Mark Sellers, Click here for E-Mail.
2. Revised wording on Join/Membership page to indicate that we are developing an on-line membership application procedure. This will give two methods for payment: MAIL-IN and ON-LINE WITH PAYPAL/credit card.
As of 6 Feb 2010:
1. Added 100th Annual Conference Reservation information.2. Corrected Name of the President during 2009 Conference.
As of 5 Feb 2010:
1. Modified Home Page to show that 61 Mini-Grant Proposals were received by the January 29, 2010 cut-off date.2. Added web-page to list the submitted grant proposals and provide contact information for submitters.
As of 2 Feb 2010:
1. Added Call for Presenters at the 100th Conference to the home page.2. Updated the html menu link to the Westin Hotel.
3. Posted the 2008 Constitution Updates.
As of 19 Jan 2010:
1. Added individual information page for Third Vice President, Brian Hartsell. You can click on the underlined name to see the new page. But, it is designed to be accessed from Mr. Hartsell's name on the Officers page found on the menu item About Us.2. Site design changed to simplify menu and footer changes. The result should be transparent to user except that the Conference Menu now has an item for Home Page and the Conference Menu is available from all pages. Note: the Conference Page is the home page.
As of 5 Jan 2010:
1. Added a Conference Brochure pdf to the Home Page Conference Menu.2. Updated the Officers and Directors Pages to show current Elected Positions and standing committees.
3. Updated available Officer Information Pages to show Current Elected Positions.
4. Added the "What's New" Menu to all updated pages and revised the Copyright/Updated Dates on all updated pages.
As of 21 December 09:
1. Added this What's New Page.2. Added 4 page Power Point Presentation to the Home Page Conference Menu for the 100th annual meeting. Slides may transition slowly at 10 second or more intervals for reading.

3. Added new link to the "National At-Risk Education Network", NAREN.

NAREN is a network of educators dedicated to improving educational offerings to at-risk youth. The initial goal is to engage students in school by adjusting to the student, rather than demanding it be the other way around. The educators that represent the thing we call "school" must make the initial moves in affirming the diversity and meeting the needs of the child. NAREN has over 45,000 interested educators on its mailing list.
