Answers
1. Am I automatically registered on this site if I am an existing member? No. Except for Life Members, there were no automatic site registrations created. If you are already a member of the IATDP but are not registered on this site, see the answer to question 5, below. Top
2. Do I have to become a member if I register with the site? No. Site Registration is Free and it only indicates your interest in the IATDP. If you elect not to pay dues, you will be a registered Non-Member. Top
3. If I pay dues after my annual renewal date is passed, will my annual renewal date change? If you do not renew your dues by the annual renewal date, your membership expires and you become a non-member. If you then elect to re-join by paying current dues, your renewal date is reset to the new date upon which you pay your dues. Top
4. Why do I have to Register with the Site before I can register for the Conference on-Line?
Note: For this 101st Conference, we have de-activated on-line conference registration due to very low use.
However, you can still become a member and pay membership dues on line using pay-pal.Top
5. How does the on-line registration system know that I am a member if I registered and paid my dues by mail and personal check? The short answer is that we don't know. You should register on the site, and then click on the underlined name below to send an e-mail note to the web-site manager John Hill giving us your complete name, registration e-mail address, appropriate contact phone numbers, etc. If your membership dues were paid on your behalf by someone else in your organization, please give us the name and e-mail address of the person who paid the dues. We will research the dues payment and mark your on-site registration with the date that dues were paid. Please contact us as soon as you identify a problem. Top
6. If I am already a member of the IATDP and I pay next year's dues in advance, will my annual renewal date change? No. Your annual renewal date is based on the date that your dues are to be renewed. If you renew in advance, the existing renewal date is simply extended for one year. Top
7. How is my annual membership renewal date computed? If you paid on-line via pay-pal, and you maintain timely renewal, the renewal date is the aniversary date of your first dues payment. If you paid by check, the renewal date is the date your check cleared the bank. This can vary depending on how soon the check was processed. Because of the time delays caused by personal checks, we recommend using PayPal to pay your dues. Top
8. I registered on the site and paid my dues. But, when I login to the site, the system still says that I am a non-member? For now, we have to update your status by hand after PayPal notifies us that dues have been paid. This could take a couple of days. If you are in a hurry, or if you have concerns about the payment, click on the underlined name below to send an e-mail note to the web-site manager John Hill. Please send us a copy of the payment e-mail you received from PayPal. We will research the event and update your membership status as soon as possible. This may be particularly important if you are registering for the conference. Please don't hesitate to let us know about any problems. Top
